Meet the Founder
Founder & Creative Director, Caliber .50 Creative
Chris Valcárcel is the founder and creative director of Caliber .50 Creative, a visual design house built for agencies, studios, and executive producers who need cinematic motion design, precise execution, and visuals that move audiences.
For more than a decade, Chris has helped production teams bring complex ideas to life through high-impact motion and graphic design, editorial, broadcast packages, and branded storytelling. His work has supported projects for Netflix, the Oprah Winfrey Network, BET, The CW, iHeart Radio, Magic Lemonade, The Trumpet Awards, Dave Chappelle, and numerous independent studios and creative agencies.
Chris built his reputation on three things producers value most: clarity, reliability, and creative precision. He understands the pressure of fast-turn deadlines, multi-deliverable pipelines, and the need for visuals that align perfectly with a showrunner’s or creative director’s vision. Whether he’s building a full broadcast package, crafting a motion system for a series rollout, or elevating the visual identity of an agency campaign, Chris brings a hybrid approach that blends cinematic style with technical discipline.
Behind the work is a philosophy shaped by years of hands-on production:
Great visuals aren’t just designed, they’re engineered.
Every frame, every transition, and every design choice exists to support story, tone, and message. Chris specializes in taking abstract ideas, scripts, or loose creative direction and transforming them into visual systems that are cohesive, scalable, and grounded in narrative purpose.
Today, through Caliber .50 Creative, Chris partners with producers and studios who want more than one-off graphics, they want a creative collaborator who understands the full ecosystem of design, story, and execution. His goal is simple: deliver visuals that not only look exceptional but strengthen the project at every level.
“Creativity is my weapon of mass creation — and I aim it at impact.”
